Namtok Chat Trakan National Park covers a total area of 146,875 rai or 58,750 acres and is most famous for its waterfall. The seven-tier waterfall cascades down from the mountain cliffs, containing prehistoric carvings and symbols. The lowest waterfall contains a fresh water beach and a large pond where visitors and swim and relax by. Visitors may ask permission from the park officials to camp in the national park.

Getting there: Namtok Chat Trakan National Park is located approximately 145 kilometers from the city by highway no. 12 to Ban Yang. Turn left on to route no. 2013 at the 68 km marker that leads to Nakhon Thai District. Continue on to route no. 1143 to Chat Trakan District. A bus is available 7 times a day at 06.00, 07.20, 09.30, 11.30, 15.20, and 16.30.
